The BCS Department at The New College, Kolhapur is committed to academic excellence in computer science. With experienced faculty and modern infrastructure, we provide hands-on training in programming, AI, and technology.

To provide undergraduate education that will prepare students to become Computer Professionals. To create,share and apply knowledge in computer science,including interdisciplinary areas that extend the scope of Computer Science. To educate students to be successful,ethical and effective problem-solvers and life-long learners who will contribute positively to the economic well-being of our nation.

Objectives:-

• To disseminate the knowledge of computer science to the students at undergraduate level.
• To impart intense introduction to fundamental concepts in Computer Science.
• To provide support for students in engineering mathematics and other fields requiring Computer Skills.
• To train the students to apply Computer Science techniques in real life situations.
